We all love bloggers! Right? Right! That’s why we are are introducing the PUBLIK GIRLS Blogger Series. Our goal is to find unique fashion bloggers from a variety of generes that inspire us daily, hourly, every minute, you get it … and let you into their world.

So today we’re proud to bring you an interview we did with Melanee, a blogger based out of Los Angeles, CA. 

SP: Is blogging your full-time gig? What is your day time thing?
Melanee: I’m a full-time grad student at Cal State Northridge studying Journalism. Blogging is my second full-time gig.

SP: Could you share a tip on how someone would go about growing their own blog following?
Melaee: It takes dedication, time and promoting yourself endlessly. You have to put yourself out there otherwise no one will find you. Be on every single social media platform available!

SP: What are some of the trends you are loving right now?
Melanee: I’m literally in love with just about every trend this season. I feel like there are thousands! So, I’m going to have to narrow it down to my top ten: ankle boots, contrast sleeve jackets, harness belts, tuxedo style blazers/vest, oxblood anything, leather, spiked blouses, camouflage, an over-sized clutch and graphic tees/pullovers.

SP: What do you think the future of fashion blogging will evolve into?
Melanee: I love the direction it’s already headed in. For instance, fashion bloggers collaborating with brands and creating their own lines. Now, since there thousands of bloggers all over the world, I think the most successful bloggers will be the ones who beyond their own blog and create a business out of it.
